Melina de Moura is a Brazilian artist, having lived in Qatar for 30 years with a BFA in Fashion Design & Merchandise from Virginia Commonwealth University. Music, movement and the Arts were apparent obsessions from an early age. As a child, De Moura grew up reading books on the sciences and the Arts- self-teaching herself to play musical instruments and becoming a trained classical ballet dancer and martial artist.
De Moura approaches the arts like a musician and athlete- replete with movement and energy. The combination of the sciences and the arts are frequent inspirations; often seen in De Moura’s works in bursts of dancing lines and color.
